3. Avoid biking at night
4. Stay alert. Always keep a lookout for obstacles in your path.
5. Go with the flow. The safe way is the RIGHT way.
6. Check for traffic. Always be aware of the traffic around you.
7. Learn the rules of the road. Obey traffic laws.

When you go out biking, make sure your helmet fits properly and that you wear it all the time. Have your parents check your bike to make sure everything is working properly and that it fits you properly. Always wear bright colored clothing and try to cycle on marked paths away from traffic. Use hand signals if you do have to ride in or around traffic so that drivers will know what you intend to do!

ALWAYS CYCLE SAFELY!
